January Team Spotlight is Josh Feller
It's the dawn of a New Year and we have a very special Team Spotlight, our President and Founder, Josh Feller. Also, since he kicks things off by being the very 1st of 2023, we wish him a wonderful birthday today! There is a lot more to Josh then what our clients may see at their meetings with him, so lets jump right into a Q & A that's short and sweet.
Q. Favorite quote or two. Bonus if you can name the source.
A. “All the things I worry about, never happen anyway” - Tom Petty
“I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.” - Thomas Jefferson
Q. Have you ever had a nickname, if so, what is it?
A. I’ve had many nicknames over the years through my participation in athletics but the one I remember, because I hated it the most was at UConn the nickname “Jersey Josh” caught on for a semester!
Q. Where did you grow up and what is one great memory from there?
A. I grew up in South Jersey, in a town called Voorhees. I spent 18 years there before leaving for college and eventually Florida and my best friends to this day are still the ones I met in Voorhees. Having those deep-rooted relationships over 35 years and watching my friends grow, flourish and become husbands, fathers and community leaders will always make me smile!
Q. In your opinion, what is the best part about working in Finance?
A. As a goal based planner, I enjoy when clients are able to meet and exceed the financial goals that they set out to achieve. Whether it be seeing pictures from a bucket list vacation, purchasing a second rental property, or just continuing to live the lifestyle in retirement they desire, if we can provide a positive impact for the families that we represent. Those relationships last a lifetime and long term friendships that manifest is my favorite part about being a financial advisor.
Q. Do you have any hobbies? If so, tell us a bit about them.
A. On my time off, when I’m not with my family, I attempt to play golf. I enjoy to mental challenge of the game, as well as the consistency and practice it takes to improve.
Q. Pets? yes/no.
A. I have a little Havanese named Socks.
